About the Author


For more than forty years, Terry Hyams has worked in the intimate apparel industry, where he built a career as an entrepreneur,
inventor, and manufacturer. Along the way, he collaborated
with talented designers, innovators, and business leaders,
gaining a rare insider’s view of one of America’s most fascinating industries. 


Those experiences inspired Men in Bras, his debut novel. 


Although the story is fictional, the world it portrays is
rooted in the energy, ambition, and craftsmanship that
defined New York’s garment industry in 1959. The characters, relationships, and triumphs are imagined, but the spirit of
the era is one Terry came to know firsthand. 


Beyond business, Terry is also a songwriter and lifelong
storyteller. Whether writing music or novels, he has always
been drawn to stories about ordinary people accomplishing
extraordinary things through determination, compassion,
and hope. Terry lives in New Jersey with his wife, Ronda, and
continues to write, create, and develop new ideas. 
Men in Bras is his first novel.
